I recently purchased a 4 stop ND filter and I tried it out on this birch branch that was caught up on the dam that crosses the Royal River in Yarmouth.
I took this photograph on Sunday, it looks good in color but I decided to do a black and white conversion and I think it came out pretty well.
I took this photo yesterday of one of the local red squirrels raiding the bird feeder, they’re such a pain.
Around these parts from November to May there is very little greenery to be found outside, although, as this photo shows, it does exist. Moss survives the cold weather of winter as you can see by this photo I took on Sunday.
